L&H stands for Luke & Hailley – a partner duo with a passion for visual arts and documentary storytelling.

Luke Whitmore

Luke had a knack for visual arts since he was eight years old. What was first a fun hobby making live-action movies and stop motion on dad’s old VHS camera soon became a paying gig at the early age of 13. Luke’s early passion for film and photography eventually granted him a seat at Red River College’s Creative Communications program, which evolved Luke’s video, photo, writing, marketing, and design skills.

Since graduating with a major in media production, Luke has worked in Winnipeg’s film industry – in the field and post-production; coordinated and executed videography, photography, and marketing needs as an in-house multimedia creator; and has produced a number of award-winning independent short films playing across Canada and the United States.

Hailley Furkalo

Growing up on a farm in Grandview, Manitoba, Hailley was always drawing and doodling, turning her love for art into a full-blown passion. After completing the Graphic Design program at Red River College, she jumped into the world of advertising, starting as a Videographer and Motion Designer at an ad agency in Winnipeg. Since then, Hailley has also worked as a Senior Designer for CBC, freelanced for Hello Sunshine, and is currently supporting another agency with her motion design skills.

In everything she does, Hailley brings her technical expertise and keen eye for detail, helping to elevate the quality of L&H's deliverables. Whether it's through her focus on visual composition, colour grading, or her designs, Hailley consistently helps L&H stand out with her creativity and attention to detail.
